2. Check the Blue & Gold Fleet Schedule, and if you have time, head over to Pier 41, for the thrilling ride UNDER the Golden Gate Bridge! You can save $10 per person on this optional tour, regardless of age. Details in your voucher.
3. The optional Big Bus Essential Tour takes more time, but if the goal is to see the city, this is the ride! If you decide to go, you'll save $20 on Adults and $15 on Kids.

- For Alcatraz, all guests over age 18 are required to provide a government-issued photo ID at Pier 33, Alcatraz Landing

- For Alcatraz Packages, children’s pricing defaults to the lowest age range (5-11) among the combined products.

- Bring your receipt/voucher to Pier 33, Alcatraz Landing

- Both Alcatraz and the Bay Cruise can be taken in 1 day, but 2 days may be needed, depending on your timing; There are no refunds for unused tours. If you join the walking tour, 2 days will almost certainly be needed.
- The Alcatraz tour usually lasts 3 hours
- Alcatraz ferries return from the island every 60 minutes (no return ticket needed)
- Be prepared for changing weather; Alcatraz Island, the trip on the Alcatraz Cruises ferry, and the Bay Cruise can all be chilly – in either sun or fog

Tours leave on time. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Bring a printed receipt or show it from your phone or tablet.
Your guide will wear a white Big Bus shirt and/or a Big Bus jacket with their burgundy and yellow colors (or possibly neon green).

Begins at the northwest corner of Columbus Avenue and Union Street.

The Blue & Gold Fleet Bay Cruise offers one fabulous view after another.
You’ll sail past the city skyline, including views of downtown, Fort Mason, the Marina district, Fort Point, and Presidio National Park. You’ll take in the imposing Golden Gate Bridge from below and creep up along the back of Alcatraz Island. Background views of the Marin Headlands, Sausalito, Tiburon, and Angel Island all add to the appeal.
With the optional audio app to play on your phone, you can learn about this city’s rich cultural history as you cruise past some of the area’s most famous landmarks.
The audio app is available in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Italian, French, Japanese, Korean, German and Taiwanese.

Be sure to dress warmly for the outside decks. Depending on the forecast, consider hats, jackets, layers, and even gloves. San Francisco is known to have cool evenings and being out on the water will only magnify things. But it’s more fun to be soaking up the views and the great atmosphere than it is to worry about being underdressed.

Hop off the bus at any of 20 stops, to see great attractions and neighborhoods. Walk around at your leisure. Then hop back on another bus coming by and continue the loop.
Primary Loop Operates: Daily from 10:00am – 5:00pm. Every 30 minutes (subject to change). Route is 2.5 hours. Last Bus returns to Fisherman’s Wharf circa 7:30 pm.
Start on any day you like, but your ticket is valid only on that day.
You will travel over the Golden Gate Bridge where you can get off at the north end Vista Point stop. Walk out on to the bridge at your own pace, or just stay for a quick, but spectacular view.
Live Narration is in English. You can also choose recorded narration in multiple languages on the primary red line loop.
Select stops are located at or near: The Haight/Ashbury district, Victorian homes, Chinatown, North Beach, Union Square, Financial District, Golden Gate Park, City Hall, the Palace of Fine Arts, Lombard Street, and more.

The Ferry ride from Pier 33 takes 10-15 minutes to get to Alcatraz.
